  • Auro Trini Castelli has been working with some of the world’s most iconic companies like Apple, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Beats by Dre, Campari, FENTY, Forbes, Goldman Sachs, HP, Kroger, Lamborghini Automobili, MAC Cosmetics, Microsoft X-Box, Morgan Stanley, The New York Stock Exchange, OREO, Twitter, Verizon Media, helping them to make a commercial, cultural and societal impact.

  • Over the course of his career, Auro has led strategy at different integrated agency networks & teams for iconic brands like Apple (Elephant NY, SF, LA, LDN), Audi (Audi Agency Network / BBH, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB), Oreo (IPG Leadership Team / FCB, The Martin Agency + 360i) and HP (BrainTrust / BBDO, 180LA, gyro), working at the intersection of physical and digital, and across brand, product design, and campaign development.

    At FCB, he pioneered Real-Time Social/Digital Marketing with his work for Oreo, which was recognized with a Cannes Lions Cyber Grand Prix, multiple Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, Clio Awards, and a Facebook Blue Award - all leading to the iconic Super Bowl "Blackout" tweet.

    In 2013 he joined gyro, participating in its global growth across 15 offices and $175 MM in revenues, all leading to the acquisition by Dentsu a few years later.

    In 2016, Auro joined Elephant, and contributed to its launch and subsequent explosive growth from an embedded team working within Apple in Cupertino to a two-hundred-people-strong agency across four offices and two continents. At Elephant, Auro led the creation of new brands, websites, apps, and campaigns, and to a series of ‘firsts’ for some of the most iconic companies in the world, including helping Apple to expand from B2C to B2B with the global launch of Apple at Work, and Goldman Sachs to move from B2B to B2C with the global launch of Marcus by Goldman Sachs.

    In 2021, he joined DDB NY as Chief Strategy Officer with a challenge to help transform the agency into a future-forward integrated creative powerhouse driven by brand, content, commerce, comms, experience, and data strategy.

    Driven by his passion for helping brands to make a societal difference, Auro joined Product, a new, independent creative agency dedicated to making and marketing products for a sustainable future.

    More recently, his longstanding dedication to impact-driven initiatives led him to the launch of his own company, Otherworldly, an advertising & design agency dedicated to advancing sustainability through the power of creativity.

  • Auro has been partnering with the United Nations and the UN Global Compact as a Delegate and Speaker for the Media For Social Impact Summit since the introduction of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, with a mission to help brands to embrace the power of sustainability in their everyday business, and turn purpose into impact.

    Over the course of his collaboration, Auro has been addressing themes such as “Marketing Sustainability in the Stakeholder Economy”, highlighting how businesses should focus beyond their shareholders and create value for all of their stakeholders – from their employees to their suppliers, from the communities they touch to all of society.

    More recently, at the latest UN SDG Media Summit held during the UN General Assembly week in NYC, he discussed “How brands can leverage creativity and the SDGs to address the world’s biggest problems”, and urged businesses and global marketers to move from intention to action, and from purposeful statements to measurable outcomes.

    Auro has recently completed a 12-months Executive Professional Program with MIT in Cambridge to become a certified Chief Sustainability Officer, driven by the idea that strategy and sustainability should converge, and by the belief that sustainable development is the future of business, and the key ingredient of the businesses of the future.

    The program gathered a group of 74 global executives from different countries to understand sustainability as a system (Leadership & Innovation, Sustainable Strategies & Opportunities, Circular Economy, Lifecycle Assessment, Planning & Operations), and how to set holistic and forward-thinking goals and measurements through the interconnected set of global frameworks such as TCFD, SBTi, the 17 UN SDGs, and more.
